Junior Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Loads and Dynamics Analyst Mechanical Engineer Junior.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural dynamic analyses for missile and spacecraft flight hardware
• Participate in Shock/Vibe test planning and execution, and analyze test components
• Prepare test plans and support dynamic test definitions, requirements development, and data evaluation

Required Qualifications

• Basic understanding of structures and structural dynamics through education or work experience
• Proficiency in finite element analysis principles and knowledge of spacecraft or aircraft structural dynamic methods
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or related field; a Master's degree is preferred
• Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a Secret clearance
• Experience with software for signal processing and post-test data analysis
