Job Summary
To ensure the proper functioning of electromechanical systems, the full-time Junior Mechanical Technician will perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance, focusing on the reliability and operational availability of generating units and auxiliary equipment in Cau - GO.
Key responsibilities
- Execute mechanical maintenance on generating units and auxiliary equipment, ensuring operational reliability and safety
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on turbines and auxiliary systems, and update maintenance plans based on technical manuals
- Investigate recurring issues, implement corrective actions, and manage the workflow of service orders in the system
Required qualifications
- Technical degree in Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering
- Practical experience in hydroelectric plants
- Experience with Kaplan turbines and auxiliary equipment
- Basic knowledge of crane operation and maintenance
- Understanding of maintenance procedures for hydroelectric systems and hydraulic systems interpretation
