Junior Network Engineer

Job Summary

To support the management of the store network lifecycle, the remote contract Junior Network Engineer will assist with monitoring inventory, verifying device configurations, and providing detailed progress reports while utilizing Cisco and Meraki technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Track and report on inventory KPIs and monitor the lifecycle of devices
• Create and maintain documentation related to network changes and configurations
• Act as the escalation point for addressing network anomalies and provide status updates to management

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of networking experience with a strong emphasis on Cisco/Meraki technologies
• Understanding of cloud-managed networking concepts and Cisco switch and wireless hardware
• Familiarity with Meraki Dashboard terminology and structure
• Aware of network lifecycle concepts and project management principles
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
