Junior Network Operations Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Junior Network Operations Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Onboard BYO-BGP customers and troubleshoot performance issues related to network availability and latency
• Research network events to identify technical debt and drive improvements across platforms
• Compose and test procedure documentation for scheduled maintenance to enhance customer experience

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience with BGP based networks and Internet scale routing
• Understanding of technologies such as VxLAN and EVPN
• Basic Linux administration experience, preferably with Debian
• Knowledge of cloud networking, including VPCs and IPsec
• Certifications such as CCNA or JNCIA are highly preferred
