Junior Penetration Tester

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Junior Penetration Tester.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct security testing on various IT assets and technologies connected to the client network
• Develop and maintain a repeatable methodology for security testing, including test planning and execution
• Perform vulnerability analysis and risk analysis, and relate test results to NIST SP 800-53 controls

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in the information technology field
• Knowledge of manual host testing per CIS benchmarks and familiarity with Burp Suite
• Experience with Nessus and knowledge of OWASP Top 10
• Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field preferred
• Industry standard certification (e.g. Security+) strongly preferred
