Junior Penetration Tester

Job Summary

Supporting security assessments in a fully remote capacity, the full-time Junior Penetration Tester will plan and execute tests on various technologies, develop test plans, and perform vulnerability analyses to enhance security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct security testing on IT assets, web applications, and cloud implementations related to the Judiciary network
• Develop and maintain a repeatable methodology for security testing, including threat modeling and test scenario creation
• Perform vulnerability and risk analyses and evaluate the effectiveness of security controls in accordance with NIST SP 800-53

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field preferred
• 3+ years of experience in the information technology field
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and experience with tools such as Burp Suite and Qualys
• Some penetration testing experience required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
