Junior QA Analyst
Job Summary
Detail-oriented and technically curious, the full-time Junior QA Analyst will conduct manual and automated UI/UX testing of Ruby on Rails applications remotely, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality user experiences.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with designers and developers to provide feedback on usability and interaction design
- Conduct thorough manual and automated testing to ensure responsive design and pixel-perfect rendering
- Identify and document bugs with clear reproduction steps and assist in maintaining high-quality standards during rapid feature delivery
Required qualifications
- Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a SaaS QA role
- Knowledge of UI/UX testing principles and experience with Ruby on Rails
- Familiarity with Git or Mercurial, GitHub Actions/GitLab Pipelines, and CI/CD tools
- Strong bug reporting skills and ability to communicate effectively in English
