Junior QA Automation Engineer

Job Summary

To support the growth of test automation capabilities, the full-time Junior QA Automation Engineer will design and maintain automated test suites for web applications, collaborating with QA engineers and developers in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop automated test scripts for critical web application workflows using tools like Selenium WebDriver and Playwright
• Ensure software quality by implementing comprehensive test plans and improving test coverage
• Utilize AI-assisted tools to enhance productivity in test design, scripting, and maintenance

Required qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in software testing, including QA automation
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver or similar UI automation tools; familiarity with Playwright is a plus
• Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language for test automation, preferably Python or TypeScript
• Experience with version control (Git) and familiarity with test management software (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps)
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field; equivalent practical experience or relevant certifications will also be considered
