Junior QA Engineer

Job Summary

Detail-oriented and eager to learn, the full-time Junior QA Engineer will execute manual testing of web and mobile applications, create and maintain test documentation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute manual testing of web and mobile applications to ensure functionality, usability, and performance
• Create, maintain, and execute test cases, scenarios, and plans based on project requirements
• Identify, document, and track bugs and defects using project management and bug-tracking tools

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 0-2 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance
• Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
• Knowledge of manual testing methodologies and defect management processes
• Familiarity with bug-tracking and project management tools such as Jira or Trello
