Junior Scrum Master

Job Summary

To support the Department of Veterans Affairs, the full-time Junior Scrum Master will guide and facilitate Agile practices, lead Scrum events, and help the team achieve its goals in a 100% remote environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead Scrum events such as Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, and Retrospectives
• Build strong relationships to enhance collaboration and transparency across Agile development teams
• Proactively identify and remove impediments to ensure smooth project execution

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in software development and project management
• Proficient with Agile project management tools like Jira or Trello
• Familiarity with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and Kanban methodologies
• Experience in facilitating briefings with senior leadership and capturing actionable outcomes
