Junior Security Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Junior Security Analyst to join their cybersecurity team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Continuously monitor network traffic and security systems for suspicious activities and review alerts from SIEM tools
• Assist in the initial triage and investigation of security incidents, documenting findings and supporting senior analysts
• Conduct vulnerability scans, implement security controls, and maintain security documentation and standard operating procedures

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field
• 0-2 years of experience in IT or security operations, with exposure to network diagnostic and monitoring tools
• Basic understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, OSI model) and operating systems (Windows/Linux)
• Familiarity with common security tools (SIEM, antivirus, intrusion detection systems)
