Junior Security Analyst
Job Summary
Focusing on client-facing security responsibilities, the full-time Junior Security Analyst will ensure security and FISMA compliance for cloud systems, perform security analysis and testing, and assist with remediation efforts.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct security analysis and maintain security program documentation, including policies and procedures
- Perform security testing and vulnerability scanning using tools like Burp Suite and Snyk
- Monitor security events and alerts through SIEM platforms such as Splunk
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 1-2 years of experience in Security Analysis work
- Experience with security compliance frameworks such as NIST SP 800-37 and FIPS
- Security+, or equivalent security certification
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
