Junior Security Automation Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of automation workflows, the full-time Junior Security Automation Engineer will build, test, and maintain integrations across enterprise security and operational systems in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and test automation workflows based on documented use cases and requirements
• Build and consume REST API integrations to connect enterprise platforms and services
• Write and maintain Python scripts for data transformation, parsing, and task automation

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience
• 1-2 years in a software engineering, DevOps, automation, or security operations role, or equivalent demonstrated experience
• Experience working in Linux environments (any distribution)
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, AZ-900/AZ-104, CKA, PCEP/PCAP are a plus
• Proficiency in Python for scripting, data manipulation, and REST API consumption
