Junior Security Engineer with Clearance

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Security Engineer-Jr/Mid to join their Security Operations team supporting cybersecurity infrastructure and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and build security tools, focusing on Tier 3 troubleshooting and engineering for various cybersecurity products
• Manage daily operations and administration of Linux servers in an enterprise environment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate security projects, tool maintenance, and troubleshooting efforts

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Cybersecurity and IT, with a focus on security engineering
• Proficiency with Linux operating systems, especially CentOS/RHEL, including server administration and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS or Azure is preferred
• Experience with SIEM tools like Splunk and SOAR platforms such as Swimlane is desirable
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, Security+, or equivalent are preferred
