Junior Security Operations Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Junior Security Operations Engineer to help scale and modernize their SecOps program.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and manage incoming vulnerability reports, coordinating remediation and tracking timelines
• Monitor and respond to security alerts, improving detection coverage and darkweb monitoring practices
• Build AI-assisted security tooling for triage, investigation, and response workflows

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience in a SecOps, Security Analyst, or Threat Response role
• Ability to understand and reproduce technical vulnerabilities
• Experience with bug bounty triage and SIEM, EDR, and DLP tools
• Genuine interest in applying AI/LLMs to security work
• Scripting and automation skills in Python, Bash, or similar
