Junior SOC/NOC Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Junior SOC/NOC Engineer will monitor security and infrastructure alerts, perform triage and response to events, and escalate complex issues to senior engineers within a 24/7 managed operations center.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security and infrastructure dashboards to identify security events and health issues across Azure and Microsoft 365 environments
• Perform first-level triage and analysis for security alerts and incidents, documenting findings and escalating complex issues as needed
• Track and update incidents in the ticketing system, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of service requests

Required Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in IT, security operations, network operations, or a related technical support role
• Foundational understanding of networking, Windows, and cloud concepts such as SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS
• Familiarity with core security concepts such as alerts, incidents, malware, and phishing
• Willingness to work assigned shifts and participate in an on-call rotation
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to pass client background checks
