Junior SOC Security Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting the operational activities of the security team, the full-time Junior SOC Security Engineer will monitor IT infrastructure, analyze alerts from SIEM and EDR systems, and assist in AI-driven threat hunting while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Responding to incidents in accordance with established procedures
• Verifying alerts from SIEM/EDR/XDR class systems
• Supporting the SOC team in developing tools and implementing new security solutions

Required qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a SOC environment at an L1 level
• Fluency in English and Polish (minimum B2 level)
• Knowledge of SIEM tools, specifically Splunk Enterprise Security
• Familiarity with XDR/EDR solutions, such as SentinelOne
• Understanding of network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, HTTPS, DNS)
