Junior Software/Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support the US Air Force Research Laboratory, the remote Junior Software/Data Engineer will build and maintain enterprise data architectures, pipelines, and microservices while collaborating with government stakeholders within an Agile framework.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain enterprise data architectures and microservices in a secure cloud environment
• Collaborate with government stakeholders to understand and implement their requirements effectively
• Facilitate operations using DevSecOps practices within an Agile development environment

Required qualifications

• US citizenship and Active Secret Clearance
• 2+ years of experience in data engineering, software development, or related technical fields
• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
• Experience with Agile development activities
• Proficiency in Python and modern frontend development frameworks such as React and Django
