Junior Software Developer

Job Summary

To support innovative software solutions, the part-time Junior Software Developer will design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using Java and JavaScript/React in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web-based applications, including backend services with Java and frontend interfaces using React
• Design and implement RESTful APIs for communication between front-end applications and backend services
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment, applying best coding practices and participating in code reviews

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
• 0+ years of related professional experience, with exposure to server-side Java development and Java EE/Jakarta EE technologies
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with experience in React and ideally MUI for front-end development
• Familiarity with relational databases and SQL, such as Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL
• Comfortable working in both Windows and Linux environments, with familiarity in version control systems like Git
