Junior Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Junior Software Engineer for a 6-month remote contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining software applications
• Support backend development using Java and Spring Boot, and contribute to frontend features using React and JavaScript
• Participate in code reviews, support CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with cross-functional team members to meet project milestones

Required Qualifications

• Foundational experience with Java and JavaScript (academic or professional)
• Basic knowledge of Spring Boot and React
• Familiarity with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL or PostgreSQL
• Understanding of Git and version control concepts
• Willingness to learn DevOps and cloud-based tools
