Junior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Offering a full-time remote opportunity, the Junior Software Engineering Program - Planning & Budget Associate Engineer will design, build, and improve software features while applying engineering fundamentals and collaborating with experienced engineers on real projects.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and enhance software features within existing systems
- Write clean, maintainable code and create unit tests to ensure software quality
- Participate in code reviews and collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to develop solutions
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience
- Experience with Java or Python programming languages
- Solid understanding of core computer science concepts such as data structures and algorithms
- Familiarity with modern development practices, including version control (e.g., Git)
- Minor or experience in Finance, Accounting, or Bookkeeping is preferred
