Junior Solution Specialist

Job Summary

Passionate about emerging energy trends, the full-time remote Junior Solution Specialist will provide technical expertise to utility customers, helping them manage distributed energy resources and implement Opus One solutions effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Assist utility customers in understanding the impacts of distributed energy resources on distribution systems and provide tailored solutions
• Collaborate with Solution Architects to define project goals, success criteria, and document customer-specific solution requirements
• Facilitate workshops to capture requirements, develop user acceptance testing processes, and train customers on using GridOS

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, focusing on power systems or equivalent experience
• Experience in automating processes and utilizing scripting solutions to support product functionalities
• Strong knowledge of emerging energy industry trends, particularly in DER management and distribution planning
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio for analysis and documentation
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively and communicate complex technical topics to diverse audiences
