Junior Systems Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Junior Systems Engineer to support ransomware restoration events.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support on engagement workstreams during client engagements, ensuring adherence to restoration processes
• Attend client-facing collaboration rooms and monitor communications for sensitive client interactions
• Document daily updates on client engagement status and assist in developing technical procedures

Qualifications, Requirements & Preferred Skills

• Basic understanding of firewalls, routing and switching, backup solutions, and Hyper-V management
• Competent in Active Directory management and configuration, including domain controller replacement
• Experience with VMware, including building hosts and vCenter servers
• Familiarity with XDR/EDR deployment and basic troubleshooting
• Ability to perform forensic collections and advanced troubleshooting on various endpoints
