Junior Technical Writer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Junior Technical Writer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain documentation, including user guides, FAQs, API documentation, SOPs, and release notes
• Review and edit existing documentation to ensure accuracy, relevancy, and effectiveness
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to produce detailed technical specifications and translate complex concepts into understandable language

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or similar field
• 3 - 4 years of experience in technical writing or procedural writing
• Familiarity with CMS and version control programs, preferably Git
• Basic understanding of RESTful API standards, including JSON output
• Experience with B2B SaaS industry standards and Agile workflows is a plus
