Junior Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Junior Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct credit underwriting and income analysis to assess borrower documentation and repayment ability
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements while supporting audits and exams
• Document customer interactions and maintain accurate records in CRM and LOS systems

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in credit underwriting, credit analysis, or financial services operations
• Demonstrated knowledge of underwriting practices and consumer credit reports
• Advanced MS Excel skills, including macros and pivot tables
• Strong commitment to customer service and teamwork
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment
