Junior Web Developer

Job Summary

Assisting in the design, development, and maintenance of web-based applications, the Junior Web Developer will work full-time under the guidance of senior developers to enhance Navy readiness through intelligent digital solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Support the full software development lifecycle for MyNAVSUP and other custom applications
• Perform routine site audits and maintenance while scaling web properties to meet business needs
• Write clean, efficient, and testable code using standard web practices for front-end and back-end integration

Required qualifications

• US Citizenship and Active DoD Clearance
• Minimum of 3-5 years of professional web development experience, preferably in a government or DoD environment
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
• Current DoD 8570/8140 compliance (e.g., Security+ CE) is highly preferred
• Foundational knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
