Jurisdiction & Classification Engineer

Job Summary

Joining the Global Trade team, the full-time remote Jurisdiction & Classification Engineer II will conduct jurisdiction and classification assessments for hardware, technical information, and software/firmware related to company exports and imports, ensuring compliance with U.S. government regulations.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive technical assessments to ensure compliance with export and import controls
• Provide guidance on U.S. Export Controls, influencing policies and classifications
• Support the Global Trade organization by responding to inquiries from U.S. government agencies

Required qualifications:

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
• Current or prior experience in EXIM/JCA or related fields such as Design Engineering or Product Management
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance
