Justice Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Justice Specialist to facilitate community-based solutions for individuals involved with the justice system.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct community outreach and education related to Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) initiatives
• Provide consultation and solutions for system improvements in the justice system using the Sequential Intercept Model
• Support law enforcement and crisis response teams to reduce criminal justice involvement

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services or a related field
• Three years of progressive experience with behavioral health populations
• Three years of experience with the criminal justice system in health care or human services
• Extensive knowledge of the criminal justice system
• Ability to make independent decisions based on relevant facts
