Job Summary
Enthusiastic about inspiring K-12 students, the part-time Life Science/Chemistry Content Developer will design and develop engaging hands-on science projects, create supporting visual content, and maintain educational resources in a fully remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Conceptualize, test, and author original hands-on science projects across various life science and chemistry topics
- Create videos and visual content to enhance student engagement and learning
- Collaborate with team members to develop high-quality K-12 science content and update existing materials for relevance
Required qualifications
- A Master's degree or higher in Molecular or Cellular Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field
- Extensive knowledge in life sciences and/or chemistry, especially in areas like biotechnology and environmental chemistry
- Proficiency in creating educational content through videos, photography, and graphics, including experience with video editing software
- Experience in K-12 instructional design is a plus
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
