K-5 Science Academic Designer

Job Summary

To support the development of engaging educational resources, the remote K-5 Science Academic Designer will plan and create instructional materials for print and digital formats, including textbooks and assessments, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet curriculum standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assisting in the development of elementary science instructional materials in print and digital formats
• Producing high-quality instructional materials that adhere to curriculum standards
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project schedules and product goals are met

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, science, or science education
• 5+ years of experience in educational publishing or significant editorial experience
• Extensive knowledge of the Next Generation Science Standards
• Experience in digital curriculum development and educational products
• Demonstrated success in creating assessments that measure student progress across multiple dimensions
