Kafka Platform Engineer

Job Summary

Kafka Platform Engineer, seeking an experienced professional for a full-time remote position to architect, deploy, and operate large-scale Apache Kafka and Confluent platform environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and operate large-scale Apache Kafka or Confluent Platform clusters
• Implement strong security measures and design HA/DR strategies for Kafka
• Mentor junior engineers and maintain comprehensive technical documentation

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Five or more years of experience with Apache Kafka or Confluent Platform in production
• Deep knowledge of Kafka internals and strong experience with Kafka security
• Hands-on experience with Kafka Connect and Schema Registry
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go
