Job Summary

Kafka Platform Engineer, seeking an experienced professional to architect, deploy, and operate large-scale Apache Kafka and Confluent platform environments in a full-time, remote position.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and operate large-scale Apache Kafka or Confluent Platform clusters
• Implement strong security measures and operate Kafka Connect pipelines
• Mentor junior engineers and maintain comprehensive technical documentation

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Five or more years of experience with Apache Kafka or Confluent Platform
• Deep knowledge of Kafka internals and security practices
• Hands-on experience with Kafka Connect and infrastructure-as-code tools
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go
