Job Summary

Kafka Platform Engineer, an experienced professional responsible for architecting, deploying, and operating large-scale Apache Kafka environments, is sought for a full-time remote position.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and operate large-scale Apache Kafka or Confluent Platform clusters
• Design and implement security measures and operational strategies for Kafka environments
• Mentor junior engineers and maintain comprehensive technical documentation

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Five or more years of experience operating Apache Kafka or Confluent Platform in production
• Deep knowledge of Kafka internals and security practices
• Hands-on experience with Kafka Connect and observability tooling
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go
