Job Summary
Working full-time in the General Surgery Clinic, the Kansas and Missouri Licensed RN will provide professional nursing care to general surgery and bariatric patients, manage patient flow, and perform telephone triage, with the opportunity to work remotely two days a week after an initial training period.
Key responsibilities
- Provide nursing care and coordinate patient appointments, including emergent needs
- Perform telephone triage and patient education while documenting care and testing
- Delegate tasks to clinical staff and cover duties of Medical Assistants or LPNs as needed
Required qualifications
- Kansas and Missouri RN Licensure
- Associate Degree in Nursing
- Basic Life Support certification from American Heart Association or Red Cross
- Less than 1 year of applicable nursing experience
