Job Summary

A company is looking for a Bond Underwriting Associate to work remotely in Kansas.

Key Responsibilities

• Obtain information to approve and process renewals for fidelity and commercial surety, assessing risk and making final decisions on bond policies
• Enter, rate, and code new bond business and renewals, developing premiums for all bonds
• Process cancellations and endorsements, manage correspondence, and assist underwriters with financial statements and credit reports

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Fidelity and surety bond experience preferred
• Knowledge of surety and fidelity underwriting terminology and procedures preferred
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
