Kansas Licensed Alternative Payment Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Alternative Payment Model Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining data structures and reports that support APM programs
• Provide analytical support for monitoring program performance and payment calculations
• Respond to provider questions regarding program requirements, performance, and reimbursement

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred or 3 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• Minimum 3 years of experience with alternative payment models, provider reimbursement, or healthcare quality initiatives required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word required; SQL or data querying tools knowledge is a plus
• Understanding of healthcare services, provider reimbursement, and value-based care concepts
• Knowledge of HIPAA, CMS, and regulatory standards affecting healthcare reimbursement preferred
