Job Summary

To support a growing client base in Kansas, the full-time salaried Kansas Licensed Assistant Controller will manage client relationships, oversee financial reporting, and lead a team of bookkeepers while working in a flexible environment that may include remote, hybrid, or in-office arrangements.

Key responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary contact for clients, coordinating financial data collection and onboarding processes
  • Review financial statements for accuracy and support the completion of monthly and annual close processes
  • Supervise and mentor a team of bookkeepers, fostering continuous improvement and project management
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • 3 to 5 years of accounting experience, preferably with financial reporting
  • Prior supervisory or team lead experience
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop; experience with Xero is a plus
  • Experience working with agricultural clients is a strong advantage
