Job Summary
Managing a diverse caseload, the full-time Kansas Licensed Associate Attorney will provide strategic legal counsel and representation in court, arbitrations, and depositions while meeting a 1,950-hour annual billable requirement.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct file reviews and legal analysis of claims and causes of action
- Draft substantial briefs, memos, pleadings, and appellate briefs while performing extensive legal research
- Represent clients in court, at arbitrations, and in depositions, collaborating closely with partners and stakeholders
Required qualifications:
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in the state of Kansas; additional bar admissions are a plus
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant practice area
- Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
- Experience with administrative proceedings, depositions, and mediations
