Job Summary

To support a growing underwriting team, the full-time Kansas Licensed Commercial Underwriter will evaluate middle market accounts for risk selection and pricing, collaborate with agents, and maintain documentation while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Evaluate basic middle market accounts for risk selection and pricing purposes under supervision
• Complete tasks such as reviewing endorsements and analyzing new and renewal accounts
• Communicate with agents to provide updates on accounts and support relationship-building efforts

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in insurance, business administration, or equivalent relevant experience
• Preferred insurance designations such as AINS, AU, CIC, or CPCU
• Knowledge of commercial insurance products and coverage options
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Good computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office
