Job Summary
Delivering compassionate emotional support and crisis intervention, the full-time Kansas Licensed Crisis Counselor will provide telephonic assistance to individuals in distress while maintaining a secure and HIPAA-compliant home workspace.
Key responsibilities
- Provide empathetic and professional telephonic support to individuals experiencing emotional distress
- Assess emotional and behavioral health concerns, including risk levels and safety issues
- Maintain accurate documentation and multitask effectively while navigating multiple software systems
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited 4-year college or university
- Minimum of 1 year direct experience in behavioral health, counseling, or social services
- Ability to work remotely with a secure home workspace, including a stable internet connection
- Availability to work weekends and holidays post-training
- Completion of a six-week paid virtual training cohort is required for continued employment
