Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Modernization Senior Advisor to guide public health agencies in improving data usage for decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Align with agency leadership to identify information needs and implement impactful systems improvements
• Develop and lead the organization's data modernization strategy, enhancing information systems and data governance
• Provide expert technical guidance on information systems and establish data exchange agreements with external organizations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public health, computer information systems, health informatics, epidemiology, or related field; Master's degree preferred
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in epidemiology, informatics, or information systems development related to public health
• Experience working with local or tribal health departments and understanding their operational context
• Familiarity with public health informatics frameworks and HIPAA requirements
• Strong project management skills and ability to engage with a broad range of stakeholders
