Job Summary

Delivering exceptional customer experiences, the part-time Kansas Licensed Healthcare Customer Service Representative will manage inquiries related to billing and insurance through inbound and outbound calls, working remotely or from the office.

Key responsibilities
  • Handle complex billing and insurance inquiries from patients, law offices, and insurance companies
  • Resolve account balances by making outbound calls and addressing patient concerns effectively
  • Provide guidance on payment options and assist with financial information in accordance with client guidelines
Required qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (i.e., GED) required
  • Prior experience in a call center and healthcare customer service setting preferred
  • Familiarity with medical billing and coding, as well as applications like Artiva and Cerner Soarian, is preferred
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and applications simultaneously
  • Understanding of sensitive personal information (SPI) and the ability to maintain confidentiality
