Job Summary
Seeking a Kansas Licensed Mechanical Engineer, the full-time position will focus on the design and oversight of mechanical systems for industrial facilities, including biogas, water treatment, and material handling, while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and managing project deliverables.
Key responsibilities
- Provide design and oversight for mechanical systems, including process piping and equipment specifications
- Coordinate project mechanical design with multi-disciplinary teams and manage vendor packages
- Generate deliverables such as PFDs, P&IDs, and datasheets in compliance with industry standards
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent from an ABET accredited university
- Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification required; Professional Engineer (P.E.) preferred or willing to obtain
- A minimum of 3 years of mechanical engineering experience in industrial facilities
- Experience with mechanical design for data centers and related cooling systems is highly desired
- Proficiency in AFT Fathom or AFT Arrow hydraulic simulation software is preferred
