Job Summary
To support a growing practice focused on harm reduction, the full-time Kansas Licensed Nurse Practitioner will work remotely to manage and initiate buprenorphine treatment for patients with opioid use disorder in an outpatient setting.
Key responsibilities
- Independently initiate and manage medication for opioid use disorder (MOUD) within a structured care model
- Provide patient-centered care and support, empowering patients to set their own recovery goals
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based virtual care
Required qualifications
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in Kansas or eligible state of residence
- At least 6 months of experience in an independent outpatient setting prescribing buprenorphine-based medications
- Ability to work autonomously in a patient-centered practice
- Private workspace with a HIPAA-compliant setup
