Job Summary

Providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care, the full-time salaried Kansas Licensed Pharmacist will review medication orders, evaluate therapy, and counsel patients while working remotely across various shifts, including nights and weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Review prescriber medication orders for safety and efficacy, approving medications for dispensing to patients
• Evaluate medication therapy and make recommendations to healthcare providers to optimize patient care
• Provide drug information and counsel patients on medication usage, effects, and side effects

Required qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree
• Hospital experience or completion of ASHP-accredited Residency preferred
• Kansas Pharmacist licensure required within 60 days of hire, along with potential additional state licenses
