Job Summary

To support a dynamic call center environment, the contract Clinical Pharmacist (Prior Authorization) will review prior authorization cases, consult with healthcare providers, and ensure compliance with clinical guidelines while working remotely in Kansas.

Key responsibilities

• Review and process member prescriptions or prior authorizations, ensuring data accuracy
• Consult with physicians and pharmacy technicians regarding medication use and coverage determinations
• Organize workload and comply with state and federal pharmacy laws and department standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or Doctorate of Pharmacy degree
• Active Kansas State Pharmacist License
• Experience in a clinical pharmacy setting, particularly with prior authorizations
• Ability to work remotely with a secure workspace and reliable internet access
• Availability for flexible shifts, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends
