Job Summary
To support families undergoing eating disorder treatment, the full-time Kansas Licensed Registered Dietitian will provide remote, evidence-based nutritional care and guidance, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote healthy relationships with food.
Key responsibilities
- Assist patients and families in transforming maladaptive eating patterns through ongoing support and education
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including initial assessments and meal plans, while regularly updating based on patient progress
- Communicate effectively with the treatment team and families, ensuring a united approach to care and addressing any nutrition-related concerns
Required qualifications
- Active Kansas license as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN)
- Bachelor's degree accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
- Experience with eating disorders preferred, including familiarity with family-based treatment approaches
- Ability to manage a caseload of up to 80 patients over a 52-week period
- Strong collaborative skills and experience working on interdisciplinary teams
