Kansas Licensed Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant to perform accounting functions in accordance with US GAAP and support various financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation and posting of month-end journal entries
• Preparation and review of account reconciliations and monthly financial results
• Support for budgeting, forecasting, and process improvements

Required Qualifications

• 3-4 years of experience for Accountant level, 6+ years for Senior level accountant
• BS in Accounting; Master's degree preferred
• CPA firm experience, preferably with SEC reporting clients
• Advanced skills in MS Excel and experience with large ERP systems
• Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting and internal controls
