Kansas Licensed Senior Architect

Job Summary

Seeking a Kansas Licensed Senior Architect to join the team in a full-time capacity, responsible for leading architectural design for diverse industrial buildings, managing project schedules, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with standards and budget constraints.

Key responsibilities

• Manage architectural design projects, balancing aesthetics, function, and cost while ensuring compliance with Kiewit standards
• Conduct life safety and code analysis, coordinating with authorities and communicating findings to the team
• Collaborate with structural, mechanical, electrical, and other engineering teams to deliver integrated building designs throughout the project lifecycle

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture from a NAAB accredited program and registered as a licensed Architect
• Minimum of 10+ years of architectural design experience in a multi-disciplined A/E firm or general contractor environment
• Experience with various building types, particularly data centers, hospitals, and industrial facilities, from concept to construction
• Proficient in Revit, Navisworks, and scheduling/budget software, with experience in writing specifications and performing bid analysis
• Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring junior staff and managing project deliverables
