Kansas Licensed Senior Structural Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Structural Engineer for Industrial Facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare designs for structures, including analysis and drawing preparation for projects of varying complexity
• Oversee the preparation of calculations, project drawings, and specifications while mentoring entry and mid-level employees
• Coordinate with internal and external partners to address structural-related issues and recommend process improvements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or architectural engineering from an ABET accredited program; master's coursework preferred
• Licensed Professional Engineer or in the process of obtaining PE within 6 to 12 months
• At least 8 years of experience in structural engineering and design, with a focus on industrial, manufacturing, or water/wastewater markets
• Experience leading projects and mentoring engineers, with a preference for modular structural design experience
• Proficient in engineering software such as CSi SAP2000, SAFE, RISA Suite, and BIM software including Revit and AutoCAD
